This a very early Lombard made in Ashland Ma. around 1952-1953. These are somewhat very
rare. Has the early Power Products AH80 motor @ 131cc's. Came with it's original 38 inch bar.
Turns over nice with decent compression. Shouldn't take a whole lot to make it a runner.

What is the saw model number?

I have the stack of IPLs from Joyce and can send you a copy.

Not that the part numbers would be of much use. [emoji848]

Surprisingly they aren't that bad with just s stub pipe .You have to remember the time period ,that engine doesn't run that fast .
What kind of rpm?

By the looks of it, looks like very little exhaust duration.

I think the one I have is a model 4D. With a Tilley boat motor float carb set on a 45 degree slant on an AH 47 PP engine .A Fairbanks -Morse recoil that about drove me nuts until I figured it out .Slow as a snail .Sometimes it will start most times it won't .Shall we just say it needs some attention .

You have to keep in mind the PP engines and to some extent Westbends were just a generic engine much like a Briggs back in the day .They used them on just about any thing, water pumps, generators ,lawn mowers etc .They produced more power to weight ratio than a 4 cycle making them more portable .Those old slow speed engines are just about like boat motors, they can run almost for ever . They became obsolete and became banished to the barn for a couple of decades .Saws get resurrected and ran on occasion but certainly not on a daily basis .
