I'll look through my box of parts. I don't think I tossed the piston... I kind of like to collect them...wierd I know.. lol!

But I probably won't tear the 024 top end off for a bit. When I do, I'll see about some comparison .

So, got the carb kit today and put it right in. I found that I had to use three layers on the pump side. Used a thin black one that had the flappers but no pump diaphragm first, followed by the same style brown pump diaphragm that had no flappers, then the gasket. There was a blue plastic pump diaphragm that had both, and then another black one that had both. The black one was different enough that it would not work, and I don't want to use the blue mylar diaphragm after the trouble they caused in hda199 carbs.

All said and done, it runs beautiful now!
