Timing openings are 98/123/82. Took .060" off the base and band. No gasket

Mine was hollow Kevin. I actually like the hollow muffler better. I gut the OE mufflers anymore anyhow.

Kevin, how much meat does your piston have at the bottom of the skirt at TDC? Without a gasket I've got .020 before Freeport. Handicaps me with machine work.

I took about .060" off the base, no gasket, .020 squish. If I put the piston up against the squish band, I have a .010" gap at the bottom. So I'm .010" from freeport

Not sure. Thinking I'll raise the transfers up to about 120, and then maybe 118 to see if I can feel the difference
