660 clone bar plate

Hey fellers got a question ....on these 660 clone saws is there a inner and outter bar plate and are they the same ...stihl Shows two different numbers for two different plates ?

I believe there is only an inner bar plate. That attaches to the case with a small screw.

Of the two types listed, one is held in place by an anchor screw, and the other clamps itself on without hardware.

Correct. I don't know of any stihls that have them. At least in the last 30 years

That makes sense ....all my saws are probibally that old ...050....041....xl12...

Some 1124s have inner/outer.

I prefer the screw-in plate vs. the press fit. Also, some AM plates may need to be drilled out to clear oem adjusting screws and/or bar studs. After that, they work fine.
