Cool! I was hoping we'd get a short block for the new saws. No price in the system yet, but I hope it's priced similar to the 562 SB. ($106) Looks like they beefed it up somewhere with extra ribs or whatever, which is why we are getting it early. And there's a new guide bushing; the 2 pins you set the gasket on when assembling the crankcase. That can't be the "beef up" area? But this is the best way to go labor wise for when saws get crunched or in the 562's case, burn up a bottom end. Wish we'd get a 372 SB, cause the new cases that fit the new oil line are a staggering $330, just for the case halves. Yikes!

@huskyboy

I think the advantages of the 5 Series XP are overrated even in commercial use. I know everyone likes XP because...its XP.
I don't want to put the XP range down - I worked with many of 3 Series and of the 5 Series XP saws.

just my thoughts..

Cjone hope this helps
I had a couple 372xp's one oe one x torque. I ran the x torque stock and after mastermind ported it. The oe i ran ported only. Both were real good i did like the oe the best it was quicker reving and felt a little faster than the x torque. Also heard the oe held up better with the lighter piston easier on the bottom end. For sure get the 572 over the 372. I heard the 572 makes good gains from porting
