I just picked up a 525rx it is the handle bar version that came with the t35 trim head and a blade.
It also comes with a decent harness.
I have put about 2 hrs on it and the wife has used it for a few hrs as well.
So far I really like the set up. Very smooth and pretty light . Lighter then my 128l was. (Sold it to help fund this)
I do hope it gets a wee bet more power as it breaks in if I am going to use it for brush and under growth. I would consider a muffler mod would help but I do like how quiet it is.

I have had the 525LS for a couple of years now and it's a great piece of equipment. The carb came set pig rich from the factory and the manual said give it 8-10 tanks before you lean it out if needed. It does have a cat muffler and I simply drilled a 3/8's hole in the baffle to allow some bypass of the cat.

Simple but effective and my trimmer ran cooler after this simple mod. One caveat, is that it will change the tone of the muffler somewhat. Not louder just deeper sounding to my ear.

Enjoy the trimmer it should last you a long time.
