That is a damn good question. Last time I broke down in Knoxville. So if one was flying to this incredible event is Knoxville the best place to land and hitch a ride from ?
That's where I flew into. Very easy to navigate from there, and with it being a smaller Regional Airport, it is pretty much crowd-free.So if one was flying to this incredible event is Knoxville the best place to land and hitch a ride from ?

Reasonable flight from MSP too. If I make it through this summer I might just have to run away for a few days...
Yes. It was pretty reasonable from SLC via ATL. Coming back through DET, against the jet stream was another story.Reasonable flight from MSP too. If I make it through this summer I might just have to run away for a few days...
AKA the Wells Hotel? You can sleep in my barn. No charge.
LMBOAKA the Wells Hotel?
IMHO That wood actually depend on which type of craft you'd be arriving in. Tri-wing or bi-planes need so little strip at the low speed that keeps them up. On the other hand a 747 requires many times the distance of the affore mentioned. Hot air balloon wood depend on the winds as far as getting close. Then too there is always the parachute attempt for the dramatic effect. Or am I over-thinking things again? So if one was flying to this incredible event is Knoxville the best place to land and hitch a ride from ?
