Hi folks.
I had a box of bits that was a few dead 371/272xp's.
I have built a couple good saws and flipped them from the box and am thinking of getting some Chinese bits to use up the last of the bits in a tight arse build for myself as I have no 70cc class saw.

I have a nice oem 371 cylinder so its a good starting point.

I do have a Chinese top cover here but its a low top.

I am thinking it would be good to fit a V stack and pod filter to this saw and chop the plastic to make room for it.

Has anyone fitted up a v stack to this model before?
Interested in any performance air filter options

I guess the first thing I need to sort out is a carb neck.
The 288 (while one) neck has its mounting holes on an angle.
Is there a carb neck off another model that will fit?

You are always building something cool. Interested to see what you come up with.

Mmmm, I just added up the cost for all the bits I need and its not worth doing.
Going to cost me almost $400 for all the bits so I am better off keeping my eye open for a junker.
I will get it running one day. and I am sure there are plenty of folks who would be interested in something like this

I don't think I have every seen a V-stack for a 372, however Cutters Edge 2065 /2071 rescue saws use this type of set upCapture.JPG
