After removing the recoil and the loosening 13mm nut
Leave the nut on but loose.
I run a shoestring behind the flywheel
I lift the saw up with the string
And tap the flywheel with a rubber mallet.
I've never damaged one doing this.

I'll have a look in a few minutes.
Hopefully i don't need a new case gasket...without tools...not really possible?

Store it dry and fill and run the piss out of it
When you need it.
One of my early 372 clones had the black gasket
That was very brittle
It finally shattered
And was sucking bar oil into the crank case
Had to split and replace the gasket.
Post some pics of what you're cutting.

Removed the flywheel. Was done with some hammer beats. Not really complicated.
One of the four screws was not so tight like the others. Retighted all of them a bit carefully. We‘ll see. [emoji51] From the outside the gasket is looking normal and everything seems tight together. Strange. I lifted the other side a bit during the saw standing on the bench. Maybe the oil runs on the lowest point towards the gasket. It’s not standing balanced due to the spike.
I recognized that the oiler screw is also leaking a bit. Should I also ignore this or can this be fixed?

Locktite the fasteners while apart.
Run the saw a bit maybe the oiler screw will sort itself out.
They are very reasonable in the us at least.

I'm sure this has already been answered, but which top end comes with the Huztl 365 362 372 kit saw?

Did tightening fix it?

Can’t answer it. Up to now tank is empty because I put in a new oil line to the pump. Maybe I’m lucky and the oil all came from the outside and not the inside. Will report tomorrow wenn all is put back together.

Perhaps more flock filter area for good filtration for a longer period. I did notice that the Husky factory wonks on their modded 372 took one of the high top filters and gutted it. Then they added filter foam over the outside so it had less resistance to flow than a stock high top filter. I doubt that it filtered as well as the stock flock filter, but then they they were emphasizing power on that saw.

I haven't run both enough to know if the hi top filter is better. I'd imagine they are, as the rest of the saw is the same

Oiltube „glued“ in with a small amount of Dirko HT. No more oil leaking. But I’m afraid that the crank gasket has a problem. There’s a tiny amount of oil coming out on both sides. Not from the outer case running towards the gasket.
That’s not worth splitting the case I think. Therefore it stays like it is. I’ll try to remove the oil every time I don’t use it. So no Problem. The oiltank vent is also leaking a bit when moving to the side. That’s normal I guess.
I also put a small amount of Dirko near the oil whole to prevent it from going through the inside instead of to the bar. Maybe it helps a bit.

They blew this one IMO. Hoping they read this...…………...

WHY not just sell the filter cover for the same $2.28 as the cylinder cover or the low top filter cover? They'd sell a ton more of this part if it was packaged alone. I'd take a couple dozen myself. And how does adding the $1.61 filter and the holder get the price to $11.49? I get the "free shipping" alters the math, but 99 out of 100 customers will want to order other parts, so what does that do to the free shipping?

Come on Huztl, keep it simple.
