Thanks, I have watched this before but did learn something from your post. That is howto use this forums search. Tried it and went right to the video ,pretty neat.I have vacuum break tool but no gauge on it. Will try something.

Make sure your flywheel didn’t slip please.

I’ve had one slip, and it was an exercise in frustration. And the saw did flood like crazy because it pulled fuel it could not burn.

Quick check, bring piston to TDC as viewed though plug hole, see if the flywheel magnets are near the coil legs.

Quick check, bring piston to TDC as viewed though plug hole, see if the flywheel magnets are near the coil legs.
Yep removed the flywheel to check key, a thing from my old Briggs and Stratton mower days. A yellow spark meant sheared flywheel key.
