Just got my 36" Mill from HL Supply yesterday, and wanted to post some comments. I already have a similar one that I am selling to my neighbor for a great price (to him). Both mills are similar, but there are some differences worth noting.

1 - All of the adjusting nuts on the HL Supply product are the same size (except for the round bar), which is nice. The other product used 2 different size nuts.

2 - The tools that came with this Mill are much nicer (see the T handle Phillips head in pic 3) instead of just a cheap double open end wrench.

3 - The new mill does not have a Plexiglas barrier like the orig did, but I thought it was worthless any way, and came cracked.

4 - The adjustment clamps for the round bar pinch it (instead of a set screw going into it), a much better system.

5 - The handle seems like a better design, not being straight up.

Last, but not least, Lynis liked it!!!

Looking forward to milling some wood with it.

Remove all the bolts and nuts that you regularly use to adjust the height and clamp onto the bar and coat them with antisieze or grease. I stripped out one of mine from repeated use. I replaced the bolt and antisiezed everything and it's been fine since

I'm glad you started this thread! I had been planning on building my own Mill and then I saw this one on HLS and thought for the money this looked like a better option. It's good to see your pictures from different angles. I'm excited to see how it works out for you! Keep us posted!

Will do.

The Philips is used for the clamp that holds the round bar.

Got to bike ride now, but I'll post more soon.

The name brand on the box I got is "Holzfforma"... to tell you the truth, I never heard of it before. But I do like it.

I think they are currently back ordered, but should be available soon. Their price is a good deal less than any other place I have checked, and the quality may be a little better than the one I had.

I just looked at this mill at HLSupply, great price - on sale!
I wish their international shipping wasn't that steep (unless I figured international shipping cost wrong), otherwise I'd buy one for my secondary 36" B&C setup and Dolmar PS-7900.
The 36" B&C setup is the largest bar I own, so that this mill setup would fit in just fine.

Looks well built, love Your review.
Have You had a opportunity to try it out?
