I wanted something that would kinda stay out of the way in a square piece of wood. Don't wanna be changing them out for play time. Those one's Nate made are cool looking, but look to grabby for a square log. I do like the matching outter so I guess I'll grind away.

You have to wonder why Husqvarna doesn't offer spikes for the 353 or 346XP as a product option. The ones I like are those they sold with the classic 61, 66, 272, etc. These have four prongs, and most of the aftermarket spikes I have seen only have three.

I took my 61 classic out the other day and ran it. Dang, that's a nice saw. Hard to believe it's that old:

I had to rebuild the chain brake, housing, and the ignition module. Then I added a new top end, but that was it.
