just as the title says, I’m looking for a lightweight 32” bar for my 461.

If you have something please PM me, Rye.

I love my Tsumura L&T 32" on my ported MS461. Not for sale though. FWIW, the US $ is pretty strong right now vs. the Canadian $, so you can get a decent price on a new Tsumura bar from TheChainsawGuy on Ebay. I've ordered several bars from him and had nothing but good luck. I've heard, but don't know for sure, that the Stihl ES light bars are even lighter than the Japanese (Tsumura, Sugihara). Good luck finding a bar. http://opeforum.com/threads/ms461-vs-30-red-oak.13698/#post-721600 http://opeforum.com/threads/oak-assassins-mmws-461-and-372xp.12805/#post-668041

I purchased my 36” from him, bar is at a great price, the shipping sucks (not his fault).

I’m looking to save a few $ and pick up a used one, I’m still looking Gents.

Why create a new thread when I can reuse an old one...

I'm looking for a lightweight 32" bar for a stihl 461/462. Tsumura maybe? I'll need a skip chain too. Anyone have anything for sale? Or tips on good places to buy new?

I have an Oregon 32" lightweight, I will look in the shed tomorrow. I don't remember if it's. 050 or .063 though.

Got a new 32 ,3/8 .50 gauge Stihl light & new full skip stihl rs 105 dL chain. I won’t have use for it for several months. I will have to see what I have in them, shipping a bar is costly as well. I will see if I can find receipts & price them 16380900-3024-46D2-A361-CFBEBA4648E4.jpeg

I aleasdy bought something from RedBull, but I'm guessing there will be plenty of folks interested if the price is right.

No problem, he has the best price on quality light bars that I have seen anywhere. I should most likely just keep this bar because I will just have sellers remorse lol.

I’m going to keep it, I already have a few Cannon bars (old) they are great bars. I used them when I used to make a living with a saw. It was hard paying that price for a bar back then you could buy almost 3 Oregon bars for what a 32 Cannon cost but I came to learn if you took care of it, kept grooves clean they lasted like crazy. Each bar was handmade I don’t know if that is the case today.

What's the appeal of cannon bars? Aren't they a) heavy and b) expensive?
