What the title says. I dont care if its a basket case as long as its halfway descent and can be brought back to life.

Thanks Jon

He's a few days to late. I just got rid of the 288's that I had.

Although I am learning from the grapest chipper who has ever chiped saws to get em sent out.

Whale, you can't say I didn't try.

Who is this grapest chipper of chipping, and stuff? @thomas1?

The one on AS I'd stay away from for the price. Aftermarket top end and hacked up top cover for $500. Seems way high

I just got a shipment of 281 and 288 parts saws in from fleabay.

However I promised one to Brian in WI.

There is some 181 thin ring runners in my racks and one that is smoked....

Plus the 288/181 thin ring I built because Skippy ticked me off is done. I built it with a cylinder gasket to get it running before port work.

I can't quite decide what to do with it. Sell it, have it ported it as is, or stick a 2 piece 281 jug in it and have a little work done on the crank....

181 thin ring saws are supposed to make for a really solid racesaw......allegedly.

Oh? Do tell, Brother Bill.
