Got my muffler bolts, heat shield and bar all in the same day. Happy birthday too me! It’s officially done and on the runner shelf. Hopefully I can put it through some wood soon. Thanks again to all that helped me out with Parts. It will be pretty sometime in the future, but I think it cleaned up nice for the time being.

Glad to help. I got a thing with the decals. Doctor says there's nothing they can do for me. :)

I'll send it out Saturday. Playing hooky today. Walt and I are going to visit a couple of old shops that began as McCulloch/Homelite dealers years ago. (I think one started in 1947).

Piles of goodies and plenty of history in these shops and I think we'll both be coming home with some interesting projects. Bringing the video camera of course.

@XP_Slinger is that an 18 inch bar?
How does it balance?
Trying to figure out what to put on my 262 18 or 20 lightweight leaning towards the 18

You didn’t ask me..but I’ve been running a 18” light on my 262 for the last 9 months or so and balance/handling is way better than the power match 20 I used to have on it.

Yes sir it’s an 18”. Though I haven’t cut with it yet the balance feels great in the hand. I really don’t think I’ll be wanting a lightened bar for my 254.

Looking forward to the rundown of that field trip:). I have a twitch for decals and plastics too, I was just denying my inner OCD by making myself wait. Thanks 100 times over Bob.

I'm going to get an 18 for my 262. I'm kinda a sucker for those Windsor/Carlton speed tip bars!
