200t spitting fuel

got a 200t on the bench. running a bit ropey.
when its running i can see fuel being spewed back out from the carb when i open the throttle..
ive changed the accelerator pump but still running ropey.
any help please before i throw it through the neighbours front window.

Could be a bad carb depends how much it is spitting back at you. if you cant tune it and keep it where it runs right the carb is FUBARED!

its been stored for approximately 10 months. could have had fuel still in. its spitting quite a lot visibly and also soaking the filter and then smoking as it burns the extra fuel.
ordered a carb kit see what happens. il hit the thing tommorow :)

Don't blow high pressure air in the carb just use a can of carb cleaner in each little port.

There is a good aftermarket carb in the states but IDK what the shipping would be to you. I have a few of them and they work decent.

I was looking at these carbs, as I have a carb on a 220t the ac-pump is more than likly shot.
I was looking on ebay, I think I found someone in hongkong that could be simular.

Not all of them work there are a bunch of different ones.

Yeh I'd seen that thread, and had a look,
There are two I'm looking at, the first link shows one that looks like D Dave's but the name has been removed
The second link shows a carb that has stihl markings on it, :eek:
So I think I'd go for the first. But I also know they could be both junk type carbs

I'm not saying I'm buying just yet I was just saying what I'd seen,

check to see if the piston is in backwards..
ring locator pins to the intake side.
