Thats beautiful!
Superior crafstmanship and attention to detail!
Just needs a compression fitting to make it complete.
whatchu gotta against compression fittings?

4-6" of snow falling currently, another 8-10 on the way for tomorrow.
Thought I was going to get stuck in the woods, but I throttled out..

Worked on getting the compressor stuff mounted to the engine. Had to replace my 88 bracket with the 95 bracket due to compressor bolt size difference. The 88 uses 3/8" bolts and the 95 8mm.

limited slip install? - This thread is inspiring me to start wrenching on my machine. It needs a lot of help - exhaust manifold leak on passenger side (5.8L) - ball joints, egr codes etc etc. I also want to add some type of helper leaf on the rear - doesn't take much to make the rear sag & the front needs a lift also - maybe even swap out to the wider 15" rims I think were on some broncos

Not on the front. It has a hard enough time with binding locked in 4x4! I have to remove the rear cover and check the S spring in the LSD. Its not very posi and the spring is known to break.

The stock aluminum wheels are 15x 7.5 and the steel wheels are 15x6 in the 1987-1990 trucks. Not sure what the width of the wheels are on the 91-96.

I put coil over shocks on the rear and they help out alot. Much eaiser to install than a leaf. Plus they only cost a little over 100 bucks for the pair at oriellys.

Since the p/s pump was off i cleaned it up and resealed it. Got the belt lenth figured out with a/c added and the air pump removed.

Rebushed the rear leaf springs. Broke them apart to remove some rust that was spreading the leaves apart.

Some more boxes arrived today. Got front and rear swaybar bushings and links, all brake hoses, radius arm pockets, and p/s h/p hose. Nice new set of front springs too.

The most important part to date is the manifold assembly for the a/c. These things can be hard to find on older vehicles but rockauto had a few to choose from. What good is a new truck without air conditioning!
