Have you rode a ceo cylinder?

No I haven’t, I haven’t had a R in two years last “new” cylinders I was on were the CP cylinders the Sphinx and Puma.

How did you like the Sphinx? I would like to see the ceo cylinder on the Dyno just to get an idea of the power, I doubt it’s going to beat a puma, but it will be interesting to see what it dose! Most pro-x or esr 350 cc engines make 45-55

I preferred the Sphinx over the puma but both were setup very different by the same builder. One thing I didn’t care for on the puma is intake issues, expect for a custom Robl intake I tested. From what I’ve been told they both have been redesigned to be more friendly to casual riding vs a hill shooter motor.

I was considering a sphinx, but it seems like nobody is selling them, raw or otherwise, and I haven’t ever rode one, the esr cylinder is dirt cheap considering, and I am really happy with the power curve I can get out of them, they really pull from bottom to the top.

What ignition did you run?

The Sphinx has the stock 88 the puma had a cr. The cp cylinders can only be had from one of their dealers they end up costing a good deal more but they last longer and can produce more power.

Didn’t get much done on the R today, had some saws and clean up to do, and I helped my neighbor wished his lift kit, but I got the clutch cover polished up

Looks badazz, but the starter needs some love lol. I spy a obs in the background lol.
That’s true, this is my backup motor, want to have it on the shelf just Incase!! I am wanting to get a set of bullet transmission gears from Led racing for the 363 but they are a few week out....so it could be a month or more! Lol I am hoping to get this 285 motor to run hard! lol

This has been a great thread. I'm glad you started it. Is the 96 yours?

Got some more parts today

My machinist got to cylinders rough bore so I need to order pistons, and I am going to have him check the 363 cylinder with torque plate for proper clearance

Need to pull the flywheel side counter balancer bearing, going to use my blind puller, but I am also going to freeze it overnight along with the new bearing to add in removal/replacement
