My garage is full with customers bikes, Hoping to have one out of here today! So I can start building out the frame. Got my 1-1/8 bar clamps on with some old bars for mock up, and couldn’t resist putting the plastic on frontView attachment 165984View attachment 165983 View attachment 165982
Had a quad wars race at the portland center ,Jeff from fullbore took us out after the event to a place called stars i think ,the following year at sandfest fullbore towed a semi truck with a cat out into the dunes with fold down walls on the trailer ,it was set up as a stage for a band and they sponsored a t shirt contest that night .Nice job on the build ,it's like restoring an old musclecar almost .

I like the red seat and tank cover. It looks really sharp with the white plastics and red frame.
Have Jeff Graves make you a white glitter one with black non skid ,only pic i can find of one i had ,i would have to talk to Jeff see if he is still doing seat covers ,i have his cel #if you want it .

Not too shabby, how’s Eddies move going? Almost make me to want to build another puma again.

His move is going pretty well, he is shipping stuff out, but he was having the factory help set up some add ons to a cnc machine, so it’s going to be a bit still. I am excited he moved to Oregon!

That’s awesome! I didn’t make it to dunefest that year, hear it was pretty crazy then!

It’s fun building them, and they take up less space than a muscle car! But just as rewarding!

A Hybrid Engineering 431 duner it was fun but hard on frames. There’s a shot with the small Led pipe, 50mm lectron, ti JDI swingarm, and factory 86 plastics.

Nice bike, my 350, 4mm stroker 330, can be hard to manage at times, only a +4 swingarm and it wheelies everywhere, have to be careful on jump faces! More power could be hard to dune without a longer swingarm!! How much hp was that putting out?

Upper 70’s lower 80’s on a 5 over, the Sphinx 363 that was in it before hand was on a stock 88 swingarm.

380548C3-4261-4298-9920-1F1026628F85.jpeg Mocked up my new front brake lines, and new cr style master cylinder. Now the throttle an clutch lever look really bad, not sure if I should Powdercoat them or polish them! Don’t want to replace the vintage sun-line clutch lever/perch combo! Not a big fan of polishing anymore nowadays, used to do it all the time and loved it, now I’m a bit burned out! So I think I answered my own question! But what color?

Does the newer master hold enough fluid for 2 calipers ? I tried one years ago off a 94 ,it did not work for me as good as the atv one.

I like them a satin black. No chance of sun reflecting in your eyes unexpectedly and it will look good too.

To be honest I don’t know, was a little worried it wouldn’t work! Thanks for the heads up! The think I don’t like with the stock r setup was the non adjustable lever, I like a two finger lever, I have big hands, I guess I could just put an xr lever, I think that fits. Was also considering the trx450 master or even a yfz450, I like the adjustments in the yfz, and it has 2 piston calibers.
