1/2 to .404 length

How many drivers of .404 do I need for a chain of 88 driver 1/2in pitch? I believe the bar is 36”. I’m thinking I’m better off ordering a 42” and trim to fit.

1/2" chain 88 dr. links = 88 7/16" length
.404 chain 110 dr. links = 88 3/4" length

Hey, that’s a slick chart. I did manage to spin up a length of 3/8 for the saw. Mainly cause I miss ordered a 36” in full comp, not full skip. So I just added a few from the scrap pile of good but short sections. Now I think I’ll get 110 links, and a preset or two just Incase I have to adjust it a little.
