I’m building one nice one out of 2 almost complete saws. The one crank case I want to use is leaking at the seam under the muffler so I figured I’d split the case and redo the gasket. Is eBay the only place to get the replacement gasket? I found them in the uk but a bit skeptical about sending money to them. Any one know where to get these oem or am?

Also while I’m in there is there anything else I should replace or just look it over for worn parts?

I've never had any problems sending money to UK for parts. Beware, however, because splitting the case of an 084 and sealing it back up is not an easy task. Good Luck!

I paid my shop to split the case and redo the bearing seals.

I did end up ordering the gasket kit from Sagen Spezi and they are legit and ship fast.
