Bought the saw as project saw. With no spur gear. How do figure I what spur gear my saw takes.
There’s the old style an new style Oiler setup

Get the ipl. The setup you've got is the new one.

Its the second one, the smaf tossue (or however its spelled!lol). That will give you choices for the clutch drum. The differences between the oilers is the worm gear. 1 has a worm thats got the finger sticking out that goes in a notch in the spur sprocket. The other one looks like an old time airplane propeller that has two fingers that go in the notches in the rim sprocket, 180 degrees from each other.
