Jim, with the lower transfers opened up like that are you planning any mods to the cases.

Just wondering if the transfer inlets may be blocked off a bit once the cylinder is back on the saw.

The spacer should give it the room it needs. I'll match the shape accordingly.

I'm hoping it will be pretty close when I'm done. The 13mm pin is a tank compared to the 12mm one.

Looks like you can make it all work. Fitting the intake boot and getting the muffler mounted with a 3 mm spacer may change a few things. The way the piston is cut and cylinder cut to feed transfer is workable. Port timing wise, I see options that are not allowed with stock piston. Great thread, I’m excited to see the end results.

Almost done. I gave the squish band a good flat surface. It was pretty bad from what appeared to be a 40 grit sandpaper mandrel that only had a couple teeth left.

None. All this person did was cut the squish band and widened the exhaust too far.
