Had a local guy ask me to swap an 066/660 top end onto his 064.. i could have sworn I saw this mod as being an option (or maybe it was the other way around) but is it as easy as elongating mounting holes on the jug using a base gasket for stencil?

Anything else needed to complete that sort of hybrid? I’ve never had my hands on an 064 so I didn’t want to mislead the guy if it is something I’m not capable of doing or more parts would be needed/swapped..

Thanks in advance!

I always turn the flywheel over by hand a few times first to let the piston center the cylinder before tightening the cylinder bolts down.

Never thought to do that Deets, but that's a great idea.

Yeah you will need a spacer(s) for the muffler mounts on the case, same thing when using an 064 muffler on an 066.
