I just wanna say that I'm real happy with my CFB Hybrid. Mine is Black, has 661 R dogs, and a D jug.

The saw always ran well, but has gotten stronger with break in.

I recently used it on a big dead Hard Maple with a 28" light bar, and the property owner's jaw dropped. He could not believe a saw that light could cut so well.

I'm going to have to try your "order of operation" for the chain brake, looks easier than what I have been doing.

However, I always install the jug before the tank holder. Just think it is easier to ensure the jug goes down right w/o the boot in the way.
