036 stalls when tipped down at idle

I have an 036 with a new cyl and pistons andboth seals have been replaced. When the saw is ideling and the nose of the bar is lowerd it will stall.
Does anyone have any ideas.

Dis you do a vacuum/pressure test? Could be a pinhole in the fuel line. When the portion with the pinhole is no longer covered in fuel, it becomes an air leak.

I would try adjusting the carb. Did you rebuild the carb? If not now might be a good time.

If you need to replace the fuel line, or already have, buy a new line from Stihl. Aftermarket fuel lines for Stihl saws suck. I have had to replace every one I have ever installed because they pinch and block the flow of fuel. Now when someone brings me the aftermarket fuel lines to install, I hand them right back to them...

replace fuel line with oem the aftermarket ones last about a year
