Might have to mill the head off with a burr

Why the fukk did they used slotted cheesehead bolts is beyond me

yes slotted screws no matter what they are in suck getting out . glad to see you have it apart . usually can tap with a hammer to loosen them

Try a couple wacks with a impact driver if you have one.

I was gonna delete the base gasket but I only have 0.035" right now.
These gaskets usually right about 0.020" right?
So 0.015-ish is a bit too tight on this mosheen.
But I'm gonna pop the top, clean the ports up and slap some new rings on in just because.

I'm gonna blend that nicely and clean the exhaust port up. Make it shiny. We like shiny stuff.
