I'd like to hear from Jim also. For myself, I've been cutting firewood with mine and I think I'm at the limit using the 18" 3/8 7-pin. I'd like to find a larger carb that is mostly bolt-on to try. I'm not convinced the 029 carb is the way to go yet.

I retrofitted a Husqy 353, correction 357 carb to a 021->025 conversion, going to try it tomorrow I hope.

Give an 044 carb a try
At least that's what I plan on sticking on my 039 one of these days.
