He has the original manual with original electric starting instructions but it does not show starter in parts break down picture. The side cover is labeled 100e. You could pm me I’ll give you his number if you would like to talk with him
Thanks for the links whats really crazy is the one saw was electric start has since been converted back. Came with a battery pack mounted on rear handle and jumper cord also.

Just talked to my buddy with the other saw he used adrill to check timing in stead of running saw and numbers are much closer heading to his place tomorrow to try with my saw. Thanks for the info will post tomorrow.Turning saw with drill timing light worked better thinking timing lights not...
Have you ever found this much advance on a stock ignition. Most peaple are saying this is to much. We used two different timing guns and are positive of tdc. Was only doing this as a reference for the other saw were building
Thanks for the input at nieces birthday party couldn't respond. Saw has stock coil and starts well with out compression release runs great. Pulled flywheel and it was not sheared. Does this coil have advance built in and what are stock numbers.
Thanks to czar I'm logged in. Friend built 372 from parts with aftermarket coil so we were comparing my mostly stock 372 with his. Project saw had 13 at idle and advanced to 23 total. My stock saw idled at 40 with no advance. Everything i have read saws thats to much. Thanks for all the replies.
