Not mine, but looks like a lot of Jonsereds for a little $

I see a carb kit in the near future. Something in there is plugged, causing it to lean out when the throttle is let off. Runs nice otherwise. That kind of stuff seems to happen to a lot of the older ones when they just sit around. All it takes is a speck of corrosion.
Yes, or any solid nose bar. I found two Oregon sprocket nose bars that were .050 and .404 and I use one on the Jonsereds XF. I think they’re 24”. I’ll get one down and send pics if you’re interested. They have bar stud adapters with them as well.
I think I can answer that for him, he uses .063. I would be surprised if he uses .050 because it’s really not easy to find.
I do have some .050 .404 chain (RS) that I’ll not use if somebody would like to try some.
MMWS 500i, converting it back to .404 AFTER installing the West Coast Saw Fallers Suspension System for it. I have high hopes for it. It was too floppy before to really run the big chain. Plenty of power but no fun at all when it bounces around. We’ll see tomorrow.
I’m pretty sure I’ve got the 365 cylinder at home. I believe it’s a quad but it’s open port. For some reason I’m thinking they made 365’s both open and closed port.
I put the 18” .325 bar on it this morning and the Beast is back. I’ve always run the 18 but had installed the 20 and put it up. With the 18 the improvement in the torque is very noticeable. I used to have a ms260 ported by Al that was a little torque monster. It had a 16 light 3/8 pitch that was...
To be clear, this MOFO saw was a beast of a 50cc before I undertook the job of opening up the jet. Al had experimented with one and found that opening it up allowed one to “lean into” the saw more when necessary and suggested I give it a try on one of his saws. He was right. The saw likes the...
I have yet to change the CBN over to the RS2. I haven’t needed to sharpen anything and really, sharpening anything is not as much fun as running the saws. At least for me. So, when I need one sharpened I’ll change it over and give a review. I’ve already said I believe the CBN will work on the...
My MOFO 261 wouldn’t run after removing the carb, pressing out the main jet for “opening” and reassembly.
Saw flooded. Carb was removed a second time for inspection. Should go. But didn’t. I changed the solenoid. No joy. I hooked up the MDG1 and when it would not communicate with the control...
