Just an observation from a guy who owns both 34 super and 036 pro
Always assume reading the displacement is the same. So I figured they were the same saw
After owning the 34 super for a couple years one day I happened to set the 34 next to the 36 and 028 I hadn’t realized the 34 is the same phi...
Carl did my 421 over a year ago and I have been running the crap out of it..I put on an 18 inch bar from a scraped Poland saw with lo pro chain...that combo will really eat wood with the porting...way too much power tho fro low pro chain...it softer wood it would be fine I think but hard wood is...
I took it out for a little run this evening...I ended up putting on an 18 inch bar..more for reach than cutting anything big as I have big saws for that...
I must say its a snorty little saw..way more than a stihl 180..can't say I ever seen a Poland saw run that good .must be the orange plastic...
Well that's saying something as the 250 is much more saw than a 180
I always thought the wife's 180 cut like a bigger saw...I will let the wife use this 41 when we build fence this spring...that will be a good test...she is hard on saws..lol that's why I bought her a throw away saw...only she...
Interesting...my dad has one of those Yellow Poulans that don't run I guess I can save it for parts..although it's set up for 3/8 lp chain...the motor has compretion..
Kind disappoints me they are the same saw as I always looked at those Poulans as bottom of the barrel junk..
Sounds encouraging ....the small engine guy I got it from didn't know anything about it as it was given to him not running for parts...since there are very few husky saws here he never had a need for it. He sold it to me for 20 bucks...
The problem with the saw turned out to be striped muffler...
They must teach that crap in the stihl service school. Our stihl dealers are that way too...sadly they do have just about any part you need...
We have a parts store that claims to be a husqvqrna dealer...they have 2 saws..but would have to order you a new sprocket..there parts inventory is 1...
All of our dealers are stihl...and have huge inventory of saws trimmers and parts...dealers of other brands are pretty small time...most have just 2 or 3 saws and no parts support...are there any husqvqrna dealers that are big and actually carry full Line and service or is this just a stihl thing?
I did use that link...thanks...the sprocket that was on it was an Oregon sprocket..no part number tho..I just don't want to go through the hassle of ordering several wrong ones..I'm trying to learn how to identify which or measure the spline.looks they just call it small med or large....kinda...
So aperintly mine was set up with 3/8 lp chain. I need to switch over to 325 by can't seem to figure out how to find the right spline sprocket..anyon know which one it takes
I have a n old jet 13x40 it is one of the origonal grey ones..it came out of a tec collage and was not hardly used...it's a pretty accurate machine for my use..but in general the older the better...
