Loctite is your best friend for these saws. Make sure your carb screws are tight.

Have you figured out the bog in the saw yet?

Oh I thought they looked great. You can run .325 , 3/8, or 3/8 Picco drums/spur on a 026. I have seen a lot of these saws running a .325 spur and 3/8 LP Picco chain. It doesn't work well. You can piss rev the snot out of it and it runs fine but it bogs down in the cut. It actually starts binding...

Pictures are worth a thousand words. Post a pic of the drum/spur, bar, and chain.

Also make sure the spur and chain are the same. .325 spur and 3/8 chain will cause the same issue.

Check the clutch springs. Make sure they are tight and not loose.

Did you hit something in that wood? About 22 seconds in, it hop out of the wood. Just wondering why?

Dave, Snap a picture of what you have left. I like those little Stihls. It might be worth it for me to make the haul. You're only not that far away.
