I will try to get photos up later.
I have two of these saws, both purchased at the same time. One I use regularly.
This one was set up, cased, and sat in my basement since new.
I have a like new 2003 026 pro that I would like to trade for a nice, all original, low hour 372xp(non x-torq).
My saw was sold new and set up by Scott's Implement in Smithville, MO and has been cased ever since.
Any interest? Please, trades only for the saw listed. Thanks
Thanks to all for the suggestions. I will go back with the original style disks and will yamabond the outer plug in, being careful not yo glue over the small vent plug.
Thanks. I just discover the small one was in there sideways. I was able to pull it out with a pair of small long needle nose pliers. Reinstalling them will require pulling the tank to do correctly
This is a photo of a 2004 359. I believe the tank uses two disk plugs, which are missing as seen in the tank photos below.
I have a couple of questions.
What is the white plug that is in the vent hole?
Will the later style vent that has the hose barb retrofit to the earlier tanks...
Currently running a stock(does have a WT194 & muffler mod) 026 pro I purchased new back in 2002. I suppose I could try a 261cm, but really am trying to stay away from any solenoid operated carb.
Everyone gives the 346 high praise so I figured why not.
Greetings.
I am a new member here in search of service manuals for Stihl 026 pro & 036 pro models.
I have own owned the pair for 16 trouble free years but they may be getting close to needing kits and seals.
Thanks in advance
