Was able to shorten cable, worked well, thank you. Looking for a little more expertise, I'm seeing the throttle assembly (trigger, lever, spring) have different part numbers between 394/395. Will the 395 assembly fit into the 394 handle?

Different carb floors makes sense, I'll have a go at taking out some slack. Drill floor if I need to. Thanks again fellas

Hey all, Put a 395 cylinder on 394 chassis, drilled hole for impulse on carb. Saw starts and runs but the throttle cable is giving me grief. 394 cable wouldn't open throttle all the way, 395 cable seems too long and won't line up with the plastic arm on the intake tract. Anyone dealt with this...

Must be a monster of a saw after all that.

Great looking saw, hows it held up for you? I'm wanting to do something similar.
