    WANTED Jonsered 2094 recoil cover/assembly.

Picked this bad boy up at a yard sale today. Looks to be in decent shape, compression feels good, piston looks good, has spark. The recoil cover is pretty busted up though, making it difficult to crank. Anyone happen to have one they’d be willing to part with? Picked up a few other fun...

FOUND IT Craftsman 50cc clutch cover.

Anyone have a clutch cover for a 50cc craftsman they’d part with? Same as the Poulan Pro 5020AV? Come across a like new saw cheap, but they lost the clutch cover. Looks like this. Would prefer to find a matching gray one, but I’d use a yellow one if need be.

    Husqvarna L77?

I’m not a collector, nor do I cut enough to justify keeping a saw like that, I don’t like seeing good tools sit. I have a few oddballs I keep for my personal use, but otherwise I enjoy working on them, and getting them to people who will use them.

    Husqvarna L77?

Thanks, I think that’s the way I’m going, he wants the 262 regardless of the trade. He is wanting $150 for the 77, and the more I look I think I’d have a hard time recouping that.

    Husqvarna L77?

Zoom in, look at the tag, it’s an L77. Same saw, bigger displacement. Well, maybe that isn’t an option, here...

    Husqvarna L77?

Talking to a local guy that I’ve done business with in the past, he bought a 257 off me a few weeks ago, and now is wanting the early model non decomp 262xp I was fixing to put up for sale. He is wanting to do a partial trade with this clean L77. Its supposed to run well, but I haven’t seen it...

    Joncutter G2500 question.

This is what I'm planning, removing the original outlet tube, drilling, and welding on a new 1/2" tube. The opening in the plastic will have to be opened a bit too, and of course retune the carb. I've seen several people on facebook who have done it and rave about the results. Original tube...

    Joncutter G2500 question.

Had a problem with mine too, they shipped the bar I ordered, but no chain. Didn’t want to wait another 3 weeks, so got me an Oregon 91vxl. I’m impressed with the saw. Buried it in a stick of dry Elm I had, and it happily chewed away without slowing much. Handles limbing quite well. Probably...

    What's on your bench?

Guy brought me a saw. Said he got it out and put gas in, but couldn’t get it to run right. Ok. I pour the gas into my catch jug... think I might have found the problem .

    What's on your bench?

Picked up this gem 257 for $15 off marketplace. Guy was honest, said he bought it new, and the coil went out second season he had it. It had sat until a few years ago when he decided to get it going again, he bought a cheap Chinese coil and put in it, said it ran for 1 tank and quit again...

    What's on your bench?

Yeah, tore the box and all the packing apart. My 5 year old was thrilled to get hold of all the “poppers”.

    What's on your bench?

Argh, waited patiently (yeah right) for 3 weeks, excitedly rip into the box, only to realize they forgot to pack one very important item... Oh well. I really am impressed with the overall feel of the saw. Seems to be put together well. Will have to run into town to get me a chain put...

    What's on your bench?

Went auction hunting again, picked this set up for $110. Stihl 026, Husky 262XP, 266SE, and a Jonsered 2050 turbo. The 266 is probably in for a full rebuild, the other 3 feel like they’ll run.

    Joncutter G2500 question.

Thanks guys, I’m looking even more forward to getting my hands on it now. Picked up a few more big saws to work on today to keep me occupied in the mean time.

    Joncutter G2500 question.

That would most likely be an A041 then. Thats good, very common. Thanks very much.

    Joncutter G2500 question.

Been eyeballing one of these for a while, wanting a decent small top handle to keep around, and I've been wanting to play with one of the chinese saws. Everything points to these being a decent little saw so I ordered one. Went ahead and ordered the bar and chain combo as well, but I'm curious...
