Got the new side cover on with the Euro spikes, got two stainless #6 Allen head screws for the outside spike just have to trim the chain catch down a bit so it doesnt hit the cover.

What bar oil are you using? Winter grade? I've heard good things about tractor supply oil

Is this just the nature of the 6100? Or is there something wrong with the oil pump/alignment of the bar?

It's a fairly new exl chain that I keep clean in between uses. It's pretty sharp as well

It gets hot enough to burn me.. when I check for oil after the bar cools down there's a minimal amount in the rail

Any ideas what I could do for an under oiling 6100 the bar gets hot within a few cuts and the oiler is turned all the way up? Chain tension feels good too

Does this vent valve look normal? How can I check it to see if it's blocked?

Thanks guys, I'm going to check it out today after work. I heard it do the same thing a few days ago and I threw a bit of silicone grease on the cap o-ring and it's still doing it. Maybe now it's exaggerated because there was little air space in the tank.
