Gave the 262 a little cleaning. I have other saws but always try to get this one out a few times a year for 2-3 cord.

I enjoy running the 562 but like the 241 even more. Not sure if this maple is out of its range but the 241 handled it fine on the first day. Now that it's ported, I wouldn't hesitate to leave the 562 home for this size wood.

Head to the woodpile for testing. If it can cut firewood without a bog & repeatedly stalling between cuts, I'd send it off for porting.
