Not a full tank, but definitely more than half full. Based on the responses maybe it is a crack in the fuel line and as the fuel gets lower it is letting air in, that makes sense. I will check that.

Sorry I should have mentioned that the filter is not hanging above the bottom, it is more or less pressed against the bottom. I have gone through the Carb when this started and I don't think that is the issue.

I have an MS 310. If I am cutting wood such that the head is above the bar, it will eventually quit, if I quickly raise the bar above the head it will recover. If it dies, it will restart without a problem. Seems like the fuel pickup has a problem when the head is above the bar? Is there...
