So I have had this saw about a year and last week was the first time I used it since the I got it going last summer for a few reasons. Anyways it is a thin ring good running saw that I tore down to the shortblock and clean up went through.

Bought off a member last year and ran a few tanks ran great in hardwood with a 20" bar, then I had Zama problems saw would not idle.
Pressure and vac tested out and then got a Tilly for it.

This saw was a auto decompression saw that I plugged with a set screw. I replaced the piston with a new meteor and did the update on the intake clamp/partition. I widened the exhaust and polished the intake. Deleted base gasket and she runs real good with a Mike Gott muffler and sounds awesome...
I got this and it runs but is missing clutch spring and needs carb kit.
Has a crack in the custom AF cover.

I have a scored 576 with the adjustable carb. I bought it as a builder this summer and well ...still not built.
Guy I bought it said he thinks his ground guys used wrong gas.
He told he had but in new carb and coil in the last year.
Not beat to h but no beauty

No Beauty queen but seems to run real nice.
Was filthy with pitch and grime when I got it.
I did not detail but cleaned it up enough to look it over well.
Has machine marks on piston still.
I repaired a crack in the top cover by the switch with epoxy.
Missing the name badge but unless Stihl...
