Does anyone have a functional cylinder for a 306a they’d be willing to donate, swap, or sell. Only interested in one that has the chrome lining intact and complete. Thanks, jerry
Does anyone know how to pressure test a poulan 306a? Can’t get any pressure using my mityvac
Started tearing it down to attempt to discover why. Took the oil pump cover off; mostly for cleanup. Then used my compressor to push some air in through the modified spark plug I fabricated. Lo and...
Reed petals look tight. Reed block has no cracks I can see.
After dunking in water I discovered it was leaking between carb and reed. Took it down and found the carb gasket had slipped when some idiot, me, reinstalled after rebuild. Got that fixed and now it runs well until you turn it...
Hey guys, posted this on the poulan thread but seems that site may have dried up. So decided to post it here on a live site. Hopefully someone can help this OF.

Fast forward to today, after MANY hours of...

Took this down last week. Been standing dead a year or more. It was about 80’ tall with 2 - 2.5 duh. From lower slope of Ozark mountain.
I can split small rounds (8”) with my fiskars. Haven’t gotten to anything bigger yet. It has straight grain and the smell reminds me of sassafras.
Anyone ID it?
