HELP! Weird Messed Up Poulan Recoil SetUp, help?

I’ve not worked on that particular model but on the S25’s it runs behind the flywheel. On those you don’t have to pull the flywheel but it’s easier if you do. I always do.

That’s good to hear. I’m hardly qualified to give reviews but they seem good to me. You can’t beat the price on them.

Can anyone use two of these chains? Apparently I can’t read & thought I was ordering regular 3/8’s chain. It’s Hipa brand, which for hacks such as myself, is fine. I’ll ship it no charge to whoever can use it. Chains are spoken for. Thank you.

    ECHO Echo, Echo, Echo

Thank you, I was surprised there wasn’t more bids. I was a bit reluctant because of the low amount of feedback for that seller. He turned out to be a real nice guy. Saw & bar were well packaged. Nice looking 452vl & that 031 looks new.

I like that color, too, but have never run across a nice one. I do have one in Craftsman’s yellow that looks good.

I picked up this Craftsman 2.7 just because I have 70cc version in the same colors. It was run maybe twice. It came with a really nice Oregon bar on it.

We have this side of an old lava dome on our property that has a bunch of faces on it. First is a big mean tiki face & second is an ape. Anyone else see them? There’s a lion, wild boar, fat lipped tiki, & a dragon but they’re covered with grass now. We have a lot of cliffs but none of the rest...

    HOMELITE Homelite Thread

It has points. There’s an XL-76 on eBay about an hour from where I grew up in Michigan. Didn’t sell at $99.00 & was re-listed. Fair price IMO. Would a full wrap from a 130 fit the 123? Probably never find one but it’d be cool.

Thanks. It was well used but maintained to keep it going. I was able to find all the parts I needed to replace what was worn. Of course, as with all my projects, I spent more than the saw is worth but it’s worth it to me. They are good saws.

Got this XL-123 as a project saw. Replaced what was needed so it’s good for another 50 years. Nice running saw.

A really nice chefs knife made by a fellow in Michigan. Nicely balanced & very sharp.

Thanks for the advice! I had a clutch on an old Remington I had given up on. Took a few whacks but I got it off.

    College football ball busting

Michigan beat Washington who beat Texas who beat Alabama who beat Georgia. They had a very good offense but it’s the defense that won it for them. For those who don’t know, I grew up in Michigan & they have always been my team. It was nice to see them win, it’s been awhile.

So what did you buy today

Not for work but I’ve wanted a pair of Grant Stone boots for a while. Really well made.
