Howdy folks! Here’s some olive blossoms turning into baby olives. These are Amfissia olives which are better for food due to having a lower oil content than other varieties.

Not really common, DJ. Most of the fencing here is hog wire or re-mesh, so usually it only lasts a couple of seasons with the heavy snows we get. Here lately the wild pigs are tearing up a lot of fences looking for acorns and truffles.

Morning folks! Olive pruning season is in the books. The trees are putting on blossoms about two weeks early. It’s been unseasonably warm and dry Spring so far. Time to start tilling and spreading sheep manure. Blow down trees and broken eucalyptus on the agenda this week.

I’ve been mowing grass for a month and I’m already sick of it. lol. The weeds this year are out of hand.
