    Show off your tillers!

Those BCS are nice, but man they are expensive, even used ones.

    Show off your tillers!

Had this Gilson for awhile but it beat me up pretty good every spring, even with extra weights added. I picked up this sleeve hitch tiller as a replacement. Much smoother sitting in the tractor seat. I always wanted a hydraulic tiller too. This one works the best. Had to figure out how to...

What does the inside of that muffler look like? I thought they were pretty empty to begin with?

I always thought the best solution for a full-time alaskan mill would be an expansion pipe. My setup isn't full time so I just have threaded pipe so I can extend the exhaust up over my head.

    Movie Saws: What is it?

Whoa, same weight as an 088 Stihl. He was swinging it around like a toy.....

    Movie Saws: What is it?

The Running Man, 1987. This was the best shot I could get. It appears to have a muffler behind the drive sprocket. Any ideas what saw this is?

I don't live in the city either. I also don't need an earsplitting saw for clearing firewood. I don't live by the Harley Davidson mantra.

I see all of the nice mods everyone makes on the outside, but how deep do those pipes protrude into the muffler? I was thinking that further in would help with noise control

    Excessive carbon buildup

too much piston wash. I would tune leaner if possible. Look at piston wash pictures.

I fired it up in the garage without the bar attached. With or without the extension, it runs lean because the 1/2" pipe I.D. is larger than oem, so I need to tune richer. I probably should've used 3/8" pipe. I'm not ready to make more slabs yet. There's snow on the ground so it might be awhile.

Milling and your health, what do you do?

Long cuts in one direction at full throttle? Yeah, the engine has some vibration, so let's test it out since no companies are building milling-specific mufflers. I don't know of any rubber that would last at temps the muffler sees?

Milling and your health, what do you do?

MSDS datasheets somewhat show what's in the fuel. Aspen appears to have the lowest benzene level, but I'm not sure what else it is composed of? I'd like to build an exhaust that gets the fumes away from my breathing hole. Trufuel 50:1 Aspen 2 Sunoco 87 octane pump gas

After staring at your muffler design Evan, I realize I could make a singular outlet like yours but with threaded pipe. Then I could extend the outlet for milling by screwing on more pipe. Then remove the extension for regular wood cutting.

Farmertec G888, a.k.a. the chinese 880. I have a few expansion pipes. I should probably try to fit one. Might be a good indoor project over the winter.
