Interesting. I bet it's probably the same family you are thinking of. Jeff and his dad have an electrical business. His brother's name is Elliot.

    Tire chains

That is crazy, never seen a link go through a tire. How did that happen? Where on the tire? I've noticed the same thing the colder it gets the more traction you get. When the snow gets squeaky to drive on is when I notice a lot more traction. We had -10 early in the week with fresh snow, it was...

    Tire chains

It looks like the set of quick fits will fit your tires as well. They are the Quality Chain Diamond Back LT 2533Q. Here is a link to see what they look like. I bought mine locally for less than this but that was years ago. https://www.amazon.com/Quality-Chain-Diamond-Chains-Adjuster/dp/B004BTEAJ8

    Tire chains

I have a good set of Quick Fits for my pickup, my tires are a 275/70/18. I'll look at lunch but that should fit your tires as well.

    Tire chains

I don't know exactly how they are classified the different sizes but in my application I would say the 5mm would be light duty. 5.5 is medium and 7mm is heavy duty. For the OP's application I would recommend a 4 link chain. Mainly to have a cam lock on the side chain and overall weight and...

    Tire chains

With everything you are describing I would recommend either a 5.5mm square link cam lock chain. Still offers good tractions, a smoother ride on snow pack roads and holds up well. Second option would be a 5mm square "quick fit" chain. Not quite as robust but a breeze to install and take off...

    Echo CS-2511T tuning issues

Hello guy. I'm having issues with this little 2511T. It starts and idles fine. Has a flat spot while revving and with the factory carb settings it revs to 10,000 RPM. I turn the Hi screw in a 1/4 turn and no change, turn it another 1/4 turn and the saw revs to the moon but my tach still reads a...

Random pics (that you took) thread...

Afternoon Ed. How are you? What transmission and what are we looking at? Yesterday I dropped the pan on my wife's 2015 Yukon and did a drain, new filter and refill... Oh what fun having to lift the transmission and pull the exhaust down to get the pan out. I was going to install my Shift...
