So I'm finally getting around to doing the muffler mod on my NON mtronic 261. I cut the gills in the left side of the muffler, took out the screen also. Is there any more that should be done? What's the consensus?

Or maybe they will hold their value or even go up in value. That's what happened to the larger Honda snowblowers when the re designed HSS models came out a couple years ago.

So with what is currently known about the up coming Stihl 462. Would you wait for it to come out, (who knows when) or buy the proven 461 tomorrow? That is the question that haunts me. I'm not a mtronic fan and don't want to miss out on the tried and true 461. What does everyone think?
