I have never seen any carbon in my 262 transfers, but was curious based on comments above. -dave

wow- for $150 I can get a complete crankcase with crank, bearings, seals installed, new from husky -dave

are you guys seeing carbon deposit in the transfers on the 262?

treemonkey model- I think tilton handled them if I sharpen ten chain for treemonkey I get to use the vice:)

I have both a 545 and 550. I would pay the extra for the 550 myself, but as mentioned, both are good saws.
