I just picked up a stihl S10 barn find for free. Saw is complete. Was told it just got put on the shelf when the guy got a newer saw. Is it worth fixing or restoring or is it just a wall hanger? It does have decent compression.

oregon and super jolly. Appear to be identical. Both made by Tecomec. $375 vs $280. Only difference I see is oregon wheels red and super jolly are green.

pic of a few different chains. Stihl, Holtzforma, Archer, Oregon. Got a deal on a couple Archer loops. Haven't tried the these Archer chains yet. So far don't care for the Oregon safety chain. The Holtzforma cuts as good as the Stihl just doesn't stay as sharp as long.

Just took the Hyway big bore off the 660 and put on a Cross MMWS cylinder with a Hyway popup piston. The BB sucked gas like crazy. Got tired of changing wheels to do rakers. I dug an old HF grinder out and found a 1/4" wheel for it. Actually works pretty good. just had to remove the little clear guard. Did a few chai s this morning and really sped things up.

was about 30" at the base. Took 5 tanks of gas. All the fresh cut in the stack was today's ash tree. The saw ran good using Red Armor at 40:1 instead of Stihl full synth at 40:1. Didn't see much difference.
