It's amazing how much unnecessary gatekeeping goes on among employers, but they all moan that they can't find anybody. Now that I think about it, I'm surprised I was able to get my part time sporting goods job so easily.
Planted my first row of Yukon Golds last night, gonna do another row tonight. Grew several hundred pounds last year, hope to double it this year. Slowly building up my annual yield to where produce is a viable income stream. And, I just love growing things and I've always been good at root...
Gonna be putting injectors in my old friend the 1970 MF-165 with Perkins AD4.203. Anything special about this job? Should I worry about the numbers stamped on the remanned injectors I got from Yesterday's Tractor?
Weird thing is, I'm stuck in that quandary where I'm "overqualified" for everything I'm interested in and have to dumb down my resume' just to get interviewed. A college degree is poison in a job search unless it's in the field you are trying for - and then it better not be too much of a degree...

That's what papaw always used and I don't remember him ever having any problems, or being very particular about ratio. I have an old metal can of it from his garage. It dates to when Stihl specified 40:1. I always have a bunch of synthetic oil in the garage, but if orange bottle was all I had...
I still have all my tools from when I was a tech so I don't buy much anymore, unless it's for a specific need or I just want it. Usually I buy used truck brand tools from Fleabay. I bought one of the Carlyle 3/8" flex head ratchets from Napa just because I was curious and it turns out to be a...
