I️ just ordered 2 loops to use in my chainsaw mill. The good reviews of regular chain thought I’d try some. Anybody used the archer ripping chain? I’ve never used ripping so I️ won’t be able to compare it to.

Still haven't ordered a new piston. Should I just order a BB cylinder and piston to replace farmer tec or just get a new piston ? Looking at a new west products from @Definitive Dave . Should I consider something else? I'm planning on using the saw for milling and firewood. Probably only...

Gas tank vent not working. Is there vent to get instead of the screw in tubing from OEM? Using the tonight and would run well for about a quarter tank and quite. Open tank and release vacuum. Runs again. I put it away after that.

The new crank came from HL Supply. The original crank bearings seized when the stopped running. I think it saved itself from more damage.

I've been fishing last week and don't have it back together. Need to order piston as it broke the skirt. Debating on replacing top end also. The crank is definitely a lot better quality.

Yes I installed the HL Supply crank using your tool and everything went very smooth. The picture is the new crank in the case. @Mattyo

Should I get a Mako or Hyway piston or splurge for a Meteor or other piston?

Installed crank in case. Found the failure due to crank bearing going when I went to put piston on crank. Piston skirt is missing.

Finally got my car back on the road. Took time tonight to clean case halves up and install new bearings. Maybe I’ll have more chances to work on it.

Installed oil line and new worm gear today. It's oiling now. It's difficult to start. Didn't do any more to the 064 . Tore my ms660 clone down to replace the crank.

Finally split the cases and removed the crank bearings. Cleaned all mating surfaces. Now I'm ready to install bearings. Need to get some all thread tomorrow.
