    Hand-Filing Husqvarna X-Cut Chain

Square or hexa would be the only way to restore the factory sloped straight side plate. Don't underestimate round filed, done correctly for the output of the saw ... o baby. Steve, it would he an honor to run one of them 365s, @Stump Shot

    Hand-Filing Husqvarna X-Cut Chain

Now that is what I am talking about! Has all the signatures of the Vallorbe double bevel. That very minor side-beak, that will bite like nobody's business! I stay away from doing anything to them rivets as well. I have to get my ducks in order, until I have a fun/play GTG 365, I am not able to...

2511t: Four years on the truck

A perfectly tuned 2511. no load: 4-stroking load: 4-stroking goes away, and stays away through the duration of the cut. end cut: engine is at its hottest taking on a lean and mean tune, 4-stroking out of the cut. Textbook tune by Mark @Crocky28

    Autotune vs M-Tronic??

At the end of the day, choose which ever system makes you sleep very well at night. Support is also a big factor, a local competent dealer has its weight in gold. They are all mechanical machines, everything goes bonkers once in a while.

    Echo 2511t.. Thoughts?

I have seen a few ported 2511s chocking with a 16" bar. Not all builds and builders are the same. Mark shows great mastery on these engines/saws. Just imagine what one of his saws can do with a 10"-12" bar.

    Husqvarna battery saw fix

To get back to the basics, bar maintained correctly, chain sharpened correctly, rakers set correctly according to the saw output? Using the 200x or 300, the classical 200 may not generate what the electric motor is asking for, thus overload protection kicks in. They are workhorses in their own...

    Duke's saw chain

That is correct. When our good friend Dan @AlfA01 sent me some goodies from the land of the Olives, just the classical freight fee applied. Likewise if I sent you some double bevel files, no import duties to your land. Just interesting to trade ideas, when I buy something outside of EU...

    Duke's saw chain

When you present an invoice with tax already paid, item should be exempted from the Schengen import duties, unless it is a private sale.

    Battery saw solution

@HumBurner the trick to fast charging is disconnect when the last led is blinking. Up to about 3/4 any charger will do, last 1/4 where all chargers have to slow down, heat and cell over voltage, two big enemies. I stopped counting, but about 400 full cycles with the QC80, 3 years on the 200...

    Battery saw solution

Even my own QC250 with active cooling is too fast for the 200/300 series. I personally use the QC80, about 2:30h for the 200, about 4:30h for the 300. May not work for a business or if in a time pinch, but good for me.

2511t: Four years on the truck

Are there any good progressive depth gauges available in the quarter pitch platform? I thus far have a pole saw with a quarter pitch chain, looking what worked for you guys should I expand my collection.

    Battery saw solution

The BLI200/300 are rated for 1500 cycles, newer cells which is better than the traditional 500 cycles. Does not matter which platform you have, nothing destroys a battery faster than a fast charger. I went out of my way to buy the slowest Husky 80w charger for both the 200/300 batteries. Three...

    Looking for ported 2511 echo

Few very good builders here. All depends on that your friend is looking out of the build. Lead times depend on how well you communicate with your chosen builder, you would be amazed what very good honest 2 way communication does.
